This privacy policy is a working draft. It has not been reviewed by a lawyer and is not yet in effect. Items marked “placeholder” will be completed before it takes effect.
Who we are
Granite Peak Software LLC (“Leadyard”, “we”, “us”) operates the website at getleadyard.com and the Leadyard service: a website, a tracking phone number and a lead CRM for contractors. Questions about this policy go to hello@getleadyard.com.
What this policy covers
This policy covers two things: information collected by this website (getleadyard.com), and information the Leadyard service handles on behalf of the companies that use it (“customers”).
Information this website collects
This website uses no advertising cookies and no third-party tracking scripts. It collects two kinds of information: anonymous visit counts, and what you send us through the “Book a call” form.
Visit counts. We use Vercel Web Analytics, which is served from our own domain and sets no cookies. For each page view it records the page, the referring site, your country, and your browser, device and operating system type. It does not store your IP address and does not identify you. It also records when a “Book a call” request is sent, without the contents of the request.
The form. When you send the “Book a call” form we receive:
- Your name, phone number, trade, and the message you write. Email is optional.
- Technical details sent with the form: the page the form was on, the page you arrived on, the site that referred you, any campaign parameters in the link you clicked, your IP address and your browser type.
To remember the page you arrived on and any campaign parameters, the site stores a small record in your browser’s session storage. It is not a cookie, it is not shared with anyone, and your browser clears it when you close the tab.
How we use form submissions
We use what you send through the form to contact you about Leadyard. Your submission is delivered to us by email through our email provider, Resend, and kept in our own records of that conversation. We do not sell it, and we do not use it for advertising.
Information the service handles for customers
When a company uses Leadyard, the service handles information on that company’s behalf, including:
- Submissions from the form on the customer’s website (the visitor’s name, contact details and message).
- Call logs for the customer’s tracking number: the caller’s number, the time, and the length of the call.
- Call recordings, only when the customer has turned recording on.
- Lead notes, stages and the customer timeline the company keeps in its CRM.
- The customer list the company builds, which the company can export to CSV at any time.
- Phone numbers and email addresses of the people the customer chooses to receive missed-call and new-lead alerts.
Each company’s data is private to that company. We use it only to provide the service to that company, and the company controls who on its side can see it.
Call recording
Call recording is optional and off by default. A customer turns it on in their own settings. Leadyard does not play a recording announcement to callers. A customer who turns recording on is responsible for complying with the call-recording and consent laws that apply where they and their callers are located, including giving any notice those laws require.
Who we share information with
We share information only with the service providers we need to run Leadyard: hosting and visit counts (Vercel), delivery of form submissions to us by email (Resend), telephone service for the tracking numbers, and delivery of text and email alerts. They may use it only to provide those services to us. We may also disclose information when the law requires it. We do not sell personal information.

How long we keep information
We keep form submissions for as long as we need them to follow up with you. Customer data is kept for as long as the customer uses the service.
[PLACEHOLDER: legal review: retention periods and what happens to customer data after cancellation]
Security
We take reasonable steps to protect the information we hold. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, so we cannot promise absolute security.
Your choices
To ask what information we hold about you, to correct it, or to ask us to delete it, email hello@getleadyard.com. If you are a visitor to a customer’s website or a caller to a customer’s number, your request may need to go to that customer, since they control that information. We will help you reach them.
Children
Leadyard is a business service. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes to this policy
When we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. If a change is significant, we will tell customers directly.
